I sat down with Don in October and set out my goal to win the Semipro National Championship. Don took my goals into account and delivered monthly training plans that accommodated my work schedule and personal priorities. Immediately I found that the hours I spent planning my training turned into hours I could spend doing my training. With regular testing I could monitor my progress objectively. My confidence grew steadily. The energy I once wasted, worrying if I was riding too much or not enough, became energy that I could deliver to the pedals.

With Don's help I didn't train more, I trained more effectively. Nine months later, when the day finally came to deliver peak performance, I found everything I needed.
